My travels today took me to Lomas de Chapultepec, and I saw this:
Those don’t look standard. But hey look at that massive curb rash:
Oh boy, are those K umh os?
I know the rears were BFs, mismatched tires on a Ferrari just screams: run away!

It’s a Ferrari being driven! That’s a good and rare thing.

no plates on it? It could’ve been stolen from the US :(
I like that black car in front of it. Too bad they didn’t sell them up here
Ferraris that actually get driven are awesome, even with cheap tires

It has a temporary permit, its par for the course on expensive cars. Not only do you avoid speeding fines, you also don’t have to pay roadtax. But you can only get a temporary permit on old cars if you “know the right people.”

Maybe a hand-me-down beater from daddy, or something else boostrapped and built themselves.

Is it eurospec? What are the import laws in Mexico?

I like it, I can just picture the owner throwing their laptop bag on the hood while they rifle through a bunch of fast food trash inside for their box of business cards.

Nah, we would have smashed the windows and set it o n fire before anyone had a chance to try and drive it down to the border.

We usually get Euro-spec cars, but it varies by brand. For instance my Kia has the European headlamps (no yellow marker or reflectors), and even though the X5 is built in the US, we also get the Euro spec one without USDOT reflectors. American cars, of course, come with the yellow markers and reflectors.
Though, more likely, we just get Rest-of-the-world cars.
Edit: Forgot the import laws
As for import laws, European and American made cars can be imported after six years or before 600 miles are reached on the odometer. Other cars need to wait 25 years like US regs. Though I think they maybe changed it to 14 years for Japan? It’s a very grey area.

Shamefully not every car is owned by an NBA star.

I bet it’s the one that banged a drunk Camaro and created the C8.

Yeah, the used car market here is just absolute anarchy.

I have a dream of getting something in the 3x8 family (preferrably 348) for, like, $20 - $30kish and having it as a beater ferrari.
